These Terms & Conditions govern your use of services provided by Academiq Maestro LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. About Us

Academiq Maestro LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, providing online 1-to-1 tutoring services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to book services, or have a parent/guardian book on your behalf.
• By using our services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Services

• All tutoring sessions are delivered online via Zoom.
• Sessions are provided on a 1-to-1 basis.
• We reserve the right to amend or withdraw services where necessary.

4. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings must be paid in full in advance.
• Payments are securely processed via Stripe.
• A contract is formed once payment is confirmed.

5. Cancellations & Consumer Rights (UK)

• You have a statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of purchase.
• However, by booking a session within this period, you agree that the service may begin immediately and that your right to cancel may be reduced or lost once the session has been delivered.
• At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule sessions.
• Late cancellations (under 24 hours) are non-refundable.

6. Tutor Availability

• If a tutor fails to attend a scheduled session, you will receive a full refund or reschedule.

7. User Conduct

• You agree to behave respectfully at all times.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for inappropriate behaviour without refund.

8. Session Recording & Safeguarding

• Sessions may be recorded and monitored for safeguarding and quality assurance.
• By using our services, you consent to this.

9. Intellectual Property

• All materials provided remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
• You may not reproduce or distribute materials without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Nothing in these terms excludes liability where unlawful, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.

11. International Users

• Our services are operated from the United Kingdom.
• If you access our services from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
• These Terms remain governed by UK law.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
